The Omnivore's Dilemma, Michael Pollan
This was a very popular book when it came out in 2006. I resisted reading it, envy, I suppose, until I picked it up one afternoon after spotting it on my shelf. Soon, I was impressed by the depth of Mr. Pollan’s research and how much I learned from a long and enjoyable read. He examines food in America and how it has evolved into the current state of affairs. Copyright 2006, first edition, first printing, softcover, no color, condition very good (the cover is excellent, but the inside pages are tanning across almost the whole page.)
