Glorious French Food, James Peterson
My French book, ignored by all, came out when the United States invaded Iraq. The French wouldn’t go along so Americans were angry and came up with such names as “freedom” fries. In any case, the book got no reviews and it is my favorite of my own books. It is based on 50 chapters, each starting with a simple well-known dish. The chapters then move on to the various improvisations and extrapolations that can be made with the beginning recipe. Copyright 2002, hardcover, signed, 733 pages.
