Chez Panisse Cooking, Paul Bertolli with Alice Waters
I’ve always treasured this book, not necessarily the contents, although those are nothing to sneer at, but the actual book. Like many of the recipes prepared at Chez Panisse, these have a distinctly Italian bent. That is not to say they aren’t original, but very simple without any froufrou. Copyright 1988, first edition, second printing, hardcover, 449 pages, very good. (very light wear on the dust jacket)
